Melissa has a Master's Degree from Morehead State University. She is married to Wally Ewers and they have 2 boys, Trey and Hayden. They live in Morehead, KY. Melissa is a teacher in Rowan County and is presently teaching 3rd grade at Morehead Elementary.
Melissa is active in the Morehead United Methodist Church. She is currently working on requirements to obtain her Rank 1 in Elementary Education.
